Cricketers changing their careers from the sport to movies hasn’t quite worked out for most professional sportsmen but this looks promising. Every batsman’s nightmare in his playing days, Brett Lee, has tried his hand at acting and his first movie is going to hit theaters in Australia on October 15.
The film project, unIndian, where he’s playing the male lead, also stars Tannishtha Chatterjee and has been directed by Indian-origin Sydney-based filmmaker Anupam Sharma. The film was shot in Sydney last summer and is the first production of the Australia India Film Fund (AIFF).
unIndian is an Australian romantic comedy which follows the checkered path of Aussie bloke Will as he attempts to woo the gorgeous Indian woman Meera, who lives in Sydney with her daughter.
